REGISTRATION FEES 

The 4th Mediterranean Plant Conservation Week (4th MPCW) will be organized in a hybrid way. Participate virtually or join us in Valencia, Spain for the complete experience!

For online participants we will provide you with the link for the connection.

Below you will find details of what is included in each registration form.

Physical participation

The physical (in-person) participation offers the complete 4th MPCW experience and the registration fee includes:

_Opening ceremony & welcome cocktail

_3 morning sessions

_3 afternoon sessions

_2 afternoon poster sessions

_ 1 side event

_ Field trip (bus and lunch)

_ Gala Dinner

_ Coffee breaks for 3 days at Botanical Garden

Virtual participation

The virtual participation includes access to

_the opening ceremony

_3 morning sessions

_3 afternoon sessions

_ 1 side events

*Projects market place & poster sessions are NOT included.

*It will be an interactive experience with real-time access.

Places are also limited and will be available on a first come first served basis. Each virtual participant must register separately.

Travel bags / Grants

Thanks to the support of IUCN through the Centre for Mediterranean Cooperation, we have some travel grants available for speakers from Mediterranean countries. To apply for a travel grant, please send a message to 4th.mpcw@gmail.com and medspecies@iucn.org before 14.07.2023 requesting the grant and including the title and abstract of the accepted paper, full name, institutional affiliation and relevant experience.

The organising committee together with IUCN will form a committee to select the recipients of the travel grants.  Researchers and member organisations of IUCN or the North African Species Commission are especially invited to submit applications for travel support.

Cancellation policy

If the cancellation is confirmed before 5th October 2023, the fees will be refunded, minus a cancellation fee of EUR 50. Only written cancellation by e-mail will be accepted for refund purposes. In the case where the candidate has omitted to inform us of the cancellation, no fees will be refunded. Please note that after this date no refund will be given.
